Vancouver Studio Zone
The boundary as the agreements actually write it, with the named exceptions and the published measuring points.
No map yet, and no address checker yet. 5 of 9 boundary segments now have data — 2 stated exactly in the agreement and 3 sourced from published mapping data. The remaining 4 describe a shoreline, a power line, a river and two road ends, and those have to be found and checked by a person before anything on this site says a location is inside or outside. Drawing them from memory would put a confident line in the wrong place, and a wrong line costs someone a travel day.
The boundary, segment by segment
Wording follows the BCCFU Master Agreement 2025–2028 and the UBCP/ACTRA BCMPA, which agree. Where the DGC agreement differs, it is noted below.

On the West, the shoreline
Coastline retrieved from the BC Freshwater Atlas and committed (421 features). This is the shortest and least specific segment in the definition: it does not say how far north or south the shoreline runs, or how islands are treated. Bowen Island is prominent on the published zone map and that question is unresolved.

from the northern municipal boundary of the District of West Vancouver eastward along the northern municipal boundary of the District of North Vancouver
Metro Vancouver Administrative Boundaries, reprojected from UTM to WGS84 and committed at src/lib/zones/data/. Corroborated independently: the BCCFU's published Highway 99 zone-edge coordinate lands 32 m from the District of West Vancouver boundary, which is what the agreement's wording predicts. Awaiting human review.

Fix the coordinate of the road end at Seymour Dam. This anchors the latitude used by the next segment, so it has to be right.

Coquitlam Lake retrieved from the BC Freshwater Atlas and committed. What remains is not data: the latitude has to be fixed at Seymour Dam first (see above), and the lake's EASTERN shore has to be separated from the whole polygon. Note the DGC variant below.

Locate the 5L82 transmission right of way. This is the weakest segment in the whole boundary — if any part needs a question put to the BCCFU or BC Hydro, it is this one.

Pitt River retrieved from the BC Freshwater Atlas and committed (3 features, measured extent latitude 49.2282 to 49.8515). What remains is judgement: separating the WESTERN shore from the whole polygon and terminating it at the longitude of 200th Street, Langley. Most of the retrieved river lies north of anything the zone uses.

On the South, the Canada/U.S. border
= 49° latitude
The Canada–US land border in British Columbia is the 49th parallel. Encode as latitude 49.0.
One difference between the agreements
DGC BC Collective Agreement 2021-2024, Article 22.1(a), words the north-east corner differently: “then eastward from that point along the same parallel line of latitude to the intersection of the eastern boundary”. Extends the northern boundary east to 122°45′ instead of stopping at the eastern shore of Coquitlam Lake. It is a small wedge of mountain and unlikely to hold a location, but it is a real difference and is not being averaged away.
The address rule
For clarity, along the Studio Zone's eastern boundary, the area encompassing all east-west street addresses below 20000 is within the zone.
Evaluated from the resolved street address, not from the polygon. Where the two disagree, the result must say which rule decided it.

The BCCFU publishes fixed coordinates for Highway 99 and states that it uses them to calculate travel out of the zone. On that corridor the measurement starts here, not wherever a route happens to cross the line.
