Beta — a work in progress. Every figure cites its article and shows its working, but the site is young: check the citation before you rely on a number, and read how the numbers are made. When the tool and the agreement disagree, the agreement wins.

Privacy

Short version: the calculators run on your phone, and what you type stays there.

The calculators

Page eighths, turnaround and cast hours run entirely in your browser. Call times, wrap times, meal breaks, page counts, the labels you give them — none of it is sent to a server, and none of it is stored. Close the tab and it is gone.

That is not a policy promise; it is how they are built. There is nowhere for the data to go.

Scanning a call sheet

The scanner reads the image on your device. The photo is never uploaded, never sent to this site, and never stored — it is held in memory while it is read and released when you leave the page.

One thing worth stating plainly, because it is the only outside connection this site makes: the text-recognition engine itself is downloaded from a public code mirror (jsDelivr) the first time you scan, the way any shared library is. That mirror sees your IP address and that you requested those files, the same as any website you visit sees. It does not see your image, your times, or anything you have typed — those never leave the device. Nothing at all is requested until you actually scan something.

There are no accounts

Nothing to sign up for, nothing to log into, no email address collected. Every tool works without identifying you.

What is never collected

Cast names. Phone numbers. Production titles. Unreleased script information. Schedules. Call sheets or any other production document. Performer notes. Health information.

The tools do not ask for these because they do not need them. A turnaround calculation needs two times and a duration, not who was working.

Addresses, when zone tools arrive

Checking whether a location is inside a zone requires sending that address to a mapping provider to be looked up. There is no way around that, and it would be dishonest to imply otherwise.

What can be promised is the rest: the address will not be stored by this site, and it will never be put into an analytics event. When those tools launch this page will name the provider used.

Measurement

Aggregate page-view counts may be measured to see which tools get used. Nothing you type is ever included in that. No production information, no times, no addresses, no labels.

Reference data

Zone boundaries, agreement citations and rate information are public reference data shipped with the site. They are not about you and are the same for everyone.
