Crew and performers quick reference

Four agreements, compared where they matter. They do not all say the same thing.

Worth checking. SAG-AFTRA is not held in this project’s sources. Every SAG figure below came from a person, not a document, and is marked that way rather than given a citation it hasn’t earned. Confirm SAG figures against your own contract.

Daily rest between days

UBCP was 10 hr under the 2021-2024 BCMPA. The amendment is conditional on when the production commenced principal photography, not on today's date — a show already shooting when the 2025-2028 MOA took effect stays on 10.

Out-of-zone travel time

The single most important disagreement on this page. Applying the wrong agreement here is wrong on the number that goes on a timecard, not just technically wrong.

Six-day rest (working a 6th day in 7)

Encroachment is paid at 2x the end-of-shift rate, capped at 3x straight time, from the start of the next call through the end of the encroached 34-hour period.

Second meal

The rule that costs someone real money if a timecard deducts it anyway.

Mileage rate (2025-2027 term)

BCCFU and DGC use the identical escalating table at the identical effective dates: April 1 2025, April 6 2025, April 5 2026, April 4 2027 — this is exactly why a mileage figure needs the work date, not just the agreement. DGC was flat $0.35 under the 2021-2024 text; the 2025-2028 agreement replaced that with this table.

Meal penalty scale

Cumulative bands. Each is applied in order — the first 12 minutes are always free, then $7.50 flat, then per-tenth rates.

“Shall not be scheduled or abused.” Rounding is per Article 4.05: tenths of an hour, any portion rounds up.

A provision worth knowing to ask for — it is not automatic.

This card summarizes; it does not replace the applicable collective agreement. Where this card and the agreement differ, the agreement governs.
